8 Steps To a Seamless Partnership
1. Review: 5 Minute High Level Overview of Zillow Preferred
2. Watch: New Agent Program Overview (Agents Required to Watch) - 4 Classes - takes approximately 1 Hour To Complete
3. Review: Program Standards (You can track your Performance on the Zillow Premier Agent App under Reporting/Zillow Preferred Perfomance)
- 4% conversion over last 90 days
- 10% of your "met-with" prospects must be pre-approved by Zillow Home Loans (your own sphre counts towards this)
- Agent must have a 25% Pick Up Rate (must answer the Zillow Calls - 25% of the time)
- Attend Bi-Weekly Zillow Preferred Call
- Must Use Follow Up Boss (added to our Zillow Team - $60/mo to agent)
- 40% Referral Fee on closed transactions (as well as a 40% referral on future transactions within 2 years of closing)
4: Complete: Zillow Mandatory Preferred Onboarding Plan - Agent must enroll in this on-demand class and must complete it within 30 days of being added to the program - or risk being removed from the program.

6: Download and Login: Zillow Premier Agent App
To download the Zillow Premier Agent app (the official CRM and lead-management app for Zillow agents and teams)
- iOS Devices: Download the app from the Apple App Store (requires iOS 16.0 or later).
- Android Devices: Download the app from the Google Play Store (requires Android 7.0 and up).
7. Download and Login: Follow Up Boss
Don't Forget to get the Follow Up Boss app on your phone (Android or iPhone)
** Make Sure to Allow Push Notifications
8. Link Zillow to Follow Up Boss
From Inside Follow Up Boss - Go to your initials/image in the upper right-hand corner > My Settings, then scroll down to Zillow > Link Zillow Profile.
Note: Use your Zillow Premier Agent login email. This may be different than your FUB login email.
When your Zillow account has been successfully linked, you will see the 'Zillow account linked!' notification at the top of the page. Additionally, your Zillow Profile will appear within the Zillow section. For help or troubleshooting visit The Follow Up Boss Resource Center.

Adding New Team Members To Zillow Preferred
Here’s the endtoend flow for adding a team member to Zillow Preferred :
1. Make sure the agent is on the PA team
- Go to Team → Management → Add team members and search/add the agent by name.
Figure 1 shows the Team Management view where TLs manage their roster:
2. Ensure the agent completes Preferred enrollment
For a new team member on an existing Preferred team:
Team Lead opens their Zillow Preferred enrollment link.
- In the “Invite team” step, they check the box for that agent and click Invite. The agent then:
- Logs in via their email link
- Selects Broker of Record
- Adds license
- Reviews requirements/pricing
- Signs the Zillow Preferred agreement.
If the TL doesn’t invite them from this screen, the agent won’t appear as an option for Preferred.
Figure 2 shows the enrollment view where TLs invite team members:
Broker of record must approve the agent after they enroll by going to Team > Your Zillow Preferred agents:
3. Add the agent to Zillow Preferred routing
Once enrollment is complete and compliant:
- go to Agent capacity and lead routing on the team profile.
- Find the agent in the Agents table.
- Click the three vertical dots in the Actions column.
- Select “Add to Zillow Preferred”.
- Configure:
- At least one ZIP code
- Lead type(s) (e.g., Zillow Preferred)
- Price filters and capacity (target connections/month).
They’ll now appear in the Agent capacity snapshot for Preferred with their connection target.
