Mindful Monday - Be Courageous

“The most courageous decision that you can make each day is to be in a good mood." -Voltaire

Be Courageous

Mood is not something that happens upon you. It’s a choice.

And it’s not just any choice.

It is the first and foremost factor in determining one’s quality of life, your successes or failures, and the quality of wellbeing for those around you.

Mood is the lens through which one’s life is experienced, moment by moment. From this lens, decisions are made, actions are taken, reactions are executed, and reflections and responses manifest into one’s providence.

Just as, in the human body, one bad cell affects those around it causing mutation, mood impacts one’s entire life ecosystem, seen and unseen, known and unknown. That is the power of mood.

Mood is both simultaneously a signal and a receiver, attracting, reflecting, and discharging its own likeness; human, animal, nature, all the energies seen and unseen.

Acceptance with absolute disregard of one’s own bad mood is dangerous and irresponsible for the damage it may trigger, particularly, and responsibly considering the simple alternative. Let go. The choice is always yours.
