My third day of gratitude is dedicated to the hundreds of agents who dive into their communities to provide value at every possible opportunity. Real estate is hard work. It is a 24/7 job. Buyers and sellers need help at all hours of the day. There are deals that need to be negotiated, houses that need to be shown, marketing pieces that need to be created, contracts that need to be signed. There are hundreds of little tiny nuances that must be completed on every single real estate transaction. What do real estate agents do in their down time? They entrench themselves in the communities they work in. They attend business mixers, children's events, town days, and more.
Recently, I attended Trunk-or-Treating in Littleton, MA with my eight year old daughter. Several local businesses had come out to the event and they had all kinds of candy and give aways. There was Halloween music playing in the background, costume contests, and a parade for the kiddos. As I walked around the event, I thought to myself, "I so wish LAER had participated in this." There were hundreds of families enjoying the afternoon with their kids. That's when, I came upon one of the entrepreneurs giving away goodies. She was dressed like a witch. When I first came upon her, she had about 30 kids surrounding her waiting patiently for a goodie bag, my daughter being one of them. This particular entrepreneur was giving more than just candy, she was giving each kid a huge bag of Halloween treats. When I looked at the sign hanging off the back of the witch's car I saw that it said, "Home Sweet Home." That's when I knew that another real estate agency must have beat me to the punch. My daughter ran over to me, so excited about her goodie bag from the kind witch. I tore it open to seek out a business card or marketing piece. WHO WAS THIS MASKED AGENT?
To my delight, it was Annette DeBisz of The Reliable Results Team at LAER Realty Partners. I was so happy. All that time, I was wishing LAER was part of this amazing event. AND WE WERE!
I don't take for granted that our agents work their butts off 24/7 to provide amazing support for their customers. That's why it's humbling to see that in their spare time they are out in the community, making a difference, spreading smiles, and engraining themselves in the towns that we work in.
It's no wonder that we have become a top ten real estate firm in New England in less than 5 years. Our agents are absolutely, 100% committed, to saying YES to their clients, to their communities, and to our company. For this, I am beyond grateful!
