Join us July 7th for our Flag Take Down & Veteran's Charity Event

Join us July 7th 11:00am-2:00pm for our Flag Take Down celebration & Charity Event.

We felt the need to do more with the amount of support and attention to this cause, and decided instead of taking down the flags quietly;  we would throw a backyard barbecue for our veterans and continue to honor them. LAER will be collecting all proceeds and supporting our local Massachussetts Fallen Heroes Organization. With a $10.00 donation to The Massachussetts Fallen Heroes, we will inscribe a veteran's name on a ribbon and attach it to one of our flags. This way our flag garden will be in honor of your veteran for years to come.

All veterans and their families are invited to join us for some light backyard barbecue, and we welcome the great people of Massachusettes to make a small contribution in our efforts to continue to support them.

We would also like to have the honor of hearing your stories, shed some light on your history and share with others.

Here are some ways you can show your support if you are interested in helping in some way:

Support a Veterans Organization: There are tons of awesome organizations around the country, reach out and support one. One of our favorites right here in Boston is Mass Fallen Heroes. They provide programs and services for veterans and Gold Star families.

Send a Card: An eleven year old girl, Shannon Crandall is the spark that started this movement and we can't help but think that this could be a pivotal moment in her life. We want to honor her drive, ambition, and her love for veterans. We keep giving her high fives when we see her at the office so she understands what a cool cat she is. If you want to send her a little note, we know it would mean the world to her. Mail can be sent to Shannon Crandall at LAER Realty, 173 Chelmsford Street, Chelmsford MA 01824.

Give Your Time: Of all the things you can do to make a difference, we think the best thing you can do is go visit and spend some time with a veteran. You will find plenty if you offer to host a coffee meeting at your local elder services or assisted living. There are many that live in shelters, so go volunteer for an afternoon. If you really want to make your own little positive dent in the universe, look into your community, find someone who served our country, and lend them your ear. We promise you will not be disappointed.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for standing by us. From the very moment we decided to take a stand on this issue, we felt the collective presence of an army of people who had our back. Thank you.
